About the Author
Jae-jin Yang is an associate professor in the Department of Public Administration at Yonsei University in South Korea. His areas of expertise are social policy and state theory. Recently, he has written extensively on the Korean welfare state and pension reform. Thomas R. Klassen is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and the School of Public Policy and Administration at York University in Canada. He has written widely on comparative welfare states, especially on income security policies.
